Here is our last post of pictures from our trip. Our final visit with Sarah. It was so heart-wrenching to have to leave her there. Once again, as in our other visits, she fell asleep in our arms. She is a sleepy girl!! This third visit it seemed she really warmed up to us. We were encouraged and sad all at the same time.... the whole thing was just such a wash of emotions- sad, happy, joy, tears, all at once. We left her there and had a good cry. So hard.
As if the morning had not been emotional enough, later that day (Friday) we visited the 3 goverment orphanages in Addis. We were amazed at the number of children. It was very comforting to know that Sarah was being so well taken care of in comparison to some of the situations we saw that afternoon. It also stirred within both of us a desire to investigate whether or not Sarah will be our only adoption..... but that's getting a little ahead of ourselves... don't you think? :)
